Swytch pioneered the affordable eBike conversion kit, a simple, self-fit way to turn any bike into an electric one, without buying a new bike or losing the one you already love. Swytch has shipped to over 100,000 riders in more than 100 countries, and picked up coverage from The Guardian, The Washington Post, Engadget and Tom’s Guide along the way.
Swytch approached Fireworx to bring structure and strategy to a marketing function and to turn momentum into a repeatable engine for growth.
Challenge
Swytch’s marketing had been built around individual channels rather than one coherent strategy.
The website’s UX and core messaging around the product range was unclear, navigation, calls to action and the product page all needed to work harder to convert interest into orders.
Social channels leaned heavily on polished lifestyle imagery, at the expense of the more authentic, product-led content that this kind of considered purchase actually needs real installs, real questions answered, real riders.
Underneath all of this sat a technical SEO and AI-search gap, no structured data on product or FAQ content, a mobile speed score flagged as poor, and a site architecture that wasn’t built to be cited by tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini, even though the editorial coverage and brand awareness were already there to support it.
Actions
Fireworx is working with Swytch as a full-service marketing partner across strategy, website development, email marketing, social media, content and SEO/GEO, starting with a full audit across every channel before recommending a single change.
On the website, we proposed a redesigned homepage and product page, built around a sharper core message, a clearer product navigation with a mega menu, consistent calls to action throughout, and a simplified bike-compatibility tool. The product page was rebuilt to sell harder — comparison tables, technical specs, video, testimonials and an AI Q&A concept, addressing the exact questions a considered buyer has before committing.
For social, we set four content pillars, demystifying the product, real people and real rides, positioning Swytch as an accessibility product rather than just a sustainability one, and community proof through user-generated content, and built out a full month of content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, deliberately mixing in unpolished, phone-shot content alongside the brand’s existing lifestyle imagery.
Email marketing was restructured into three distinct lifecycle streams, with proof-led communication: real ride numbers, press endorsements, and honest, specific reassurance for anyone still weighing up the decision.
A technical SEO and AI-search audit identified the highest-leverage fix as adding FAQ and product schema to key pages, addressing rich-snippet eligibility and AI citation in a single move, alongside a wider technical clean-up of site speed and legacy product listings still surfacing in search.
