Intelligent Land appointed Fireworx to help them in achieving their ambitious business growth objectives and better communicate their brand positioning through a strategic marketing plan.

Having done some elements in the past internally, they required a clear plan but with a budget that wouldn’t break the bank.


Gathering in Poole, Dorset we brought together key stakeholders involved with Intelligent Land for a brand and marketing workshop. Prior to the session, we’d compiled desktop research and analysed data on activity they’d already run, looking at core competitors and researching prospect customers.

Over the facilitated 5 hour session we delved into the core values of the business and how Intelligent Land’s team collectively drove better returns for developers, land owners and local authorities alike.

Fireworx created a new value proposition, marketing calendar, strategic plan and a list of the core priorities that needed to be addressed. Our focus was to look at what could drive the most value and make the biggest impact including; customer relationship management, content strategy, value proposition, brand communication hierarchy, website development and digital marketing.

The new proposition – ‘Smarter Development’ very simply and in the most straightforward way aligned on multiple fronts for them, with the link to the company name itself but more importantly the smarter approach taken by their expert team to achieve a better return on client investment.

Fireworx created a new look and feel using land topography lines to create unique shapes and layers across printed brochures and digital communications. This graphic device allows for a 3-dimensional feel across printed elements using spot UV varnish and embossing to create physical contours, adding a premium quality and a more tactile finish.

A new website was developed in WordPress with a bespoke build and central search function to help visitors easily find the information for their requirements. From user experience, design, development, content, population, search engine optimisation, analytics set-up conversion optimisation, Fireworx focused on creating a website that would aid in better communication and drive enquiries more easily.

Alongside the new website, Fireworx has created advertising, brochures, email signatures, Word templates and a full set of brand guidelines.
