Copronet ,The Construction Professionals Network, is a UK technology start-up by David and Emma Stapleton and backed by Mike Jeffiries former Chairman  and CEO of  Atkins Global

Copronet is a social network for construction, looking to connect project managers, contractors, clients, architects and building firms in order to collaborate on construction projects of various sizes. It also comes with a suite of tools for project management, financing and time tracking which is looking to disrupt the global construction industry with a collaborative cloud-based online service.

Copronet approached Fireworx directly to help them support the marketing and growth of the platform.

Action

We started by looking at the Copronet platform from the customer perspective to understand the usability of the system, all of its benefits and the core needs it solved for both contractors and developers.

After extensive research and planning we worked with Copronet to help refine the platform to reflect its core benefits of helping leading developers find approved contractors, and for contractors to find good quality development projects. We started with the user experience and wireframes from mobile through to desktop, looking at the information architecture and simplification of the customer communication at each touchpoint.

We then moved onto the marketing strategy and plan looking at the overall communications approach, working on the value proposition and a multi-channel focus to help engage with decision makers within key developers as well as contractors. This included a focus on channels such as; email, advertising, events, networking and social media

Results

I was initially introduced to Fireworx as they have a unique model with their creative guarantee and a payment on results offering, which I instantly liked as they share in success of their campaigns and are results focused unlike other agencies.

Their team spent allot of time in our first phase of working together challenging our thinking, and helping us to focus on the key areas the platform supports. They helped us to re-imagine the Copronet platform and give us the foundations to support our future objectives for the growth of the platform. We also benefited from having a member of the team working from within our offices to support making more immediate changes and shape the strategy day-to-day.

We continue to work with Fireworx on the marketing strategy and support the growth of the platform and I’d happily recommend Dan and the team for any brand that’s looking to do things differently.
