JTC initially appointed Fireworx to help them define a new brand proposition and set marketing strategy to help them grow, that grew into a new name for the business and fresher identity.
Challenge
The core challenge in the recruitment industry is one of sameness. Most organisations offer a similar approach and fee structure for finding candidates and so picking one over the other was a challenge.
J2C needed a new way to do things and talk about what they offer clients. The brand was bland, the messaging was the same as everyone else, the website and social did not tell the story of ‘why’ clients should choose J2C or the benefits they provide.
Everything was safe and stale.
Action
Our strategy team gathered information on the business, audience, competitors and offering, sitting with the key decision makers in the business and running our strategic growth workshop.
To help the business achieve it’s objectives it was clear there is the opportunity to create clear blue water between J2C and other recruitment related brands in the space. Our recommendation was for this to be more distinctive, with a tone of voice and approach that positioned J2C as the go-to recruiter within specific sectors.
Aligned to this was the suggestion to change the business name. Job To Career had served them to date but it was agreed this would only take them so far, and to create the stand-out they desired a new bold name and visual identity was needed.
Once this was defined we then set to work on a new value proposition, communicating why clients should buy from them not a competitor. With the new look brand set we made recommendations for a new website and their broader marketing communication activity to reflect their new approach. Ideally this will be based on a core set of objectives, marketing messaging, audience focus and a consistency to our approach.
After a lot of careful consideration, looking at numerous options the new was agreed – Ferox.
Fireworx created a series of bold and creative identities that conveyed the values of the business, while capturing a fresh new direction for the business.
The final version with the playful ‘R’ logo mark was infused with a more modern colour pallet and typeface, utilising an animated logo mark for use digitally.
We also developed a new value proposition for Ferox – ‘Redefining recruitment, transforming business’ this was based on core principles the brand stood by:

• Time and cost saving, we add value o any organisation.
• We believe in you and want to make a difference.
Using a fresh new colour palette we created a new brand identity and visual language.
From all new marketing collateral to a new website, social media and content we have totally refreshed the look and feel to support their growth ambitions.
